Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

This policy explains how BreakNewsUS (breaknewsus.com) collects, uses and protects information about visitors to this website.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by SUPERNOVA ADS SERVIÇOS DE PROPAGANDA E MARKETING LTDA, CNPJ 50.611.608/0001-20 (Brazil). Contact: contact@breaknewsus.com.

2. Information we collect

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time of the visit and the referring site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Information you give us: your name and email address if you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information or information from children under 13. This website is not directed to children under 13 (COPPA). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

3. How we use information

  • To operate the website and keep it secure.
  • To measure our audience and understand which content is most useful.
  • To show advertising, which keeps the site free.
  • To send the newsletter to subscribers (you can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email).
  • To answer messages and comply with the law.

4. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work, for audience measurement and for advertising. A notice on your first visit lets you accept or decline. If you decline, Google ads are shown without personalization. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

5. Advertising partners

We show ads from third-party networks, which may use cookies and identifiers to show more relevant ads and measure their performance:

  • Google AdSense / Google Ad Manager (Google LLC). Google uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
  • MGID (native ads and recommended content), which may also use cookies and browsing data.
  • Affiliate links: if you buy something through a link on our site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.

6. Audience measurement

We measure our audience with our own tool, hosted on our server: we record the page viewed, where the visit came from, the device type, the approximate location (country, state and city, derived from the IP address at the time of the visit), how far the page was read, time on page and where people click. The IP address is not stored and no cookie is set for this; each visitor is identified only by a code that changes every day. This data is analyzed in aggregate and deleted after 90 days. We also use Google Analytics, which may set its own cookies.

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. Information may be processed by the partners listed above, by our hosting provider and by service providers (such as newsletter delivery), only for the purposes in this policy, or when required by law.

8. Your privacy choices and U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states), you may have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use it; access it; correct it; delete it; and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: the use of advertising cookies by our ad partners may be considered “sharing” under some state laws. You can opt out at any time by declining cookies in our cookie notice, by using the opt-out links in section 5, or by emailing contact@breaknewsus.com. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out request where required by law.

To exercise your rights, email contact@breaknewsus.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. We may need to verify your request.

9. Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or to meet legal obligations. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

10. Security

The site uses a secure connection (HTTPS) and we take reasonable measures to protect information. No system is completely secure; if a relevant incident occurs, we will notify you as required by law.

11. International visitors

This site is operated from Brazil and hosted by third-party providers that may process data in other countries. By using the site, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country.

12. Third-party links

Stories cite and link to their original sources. When you click an external link, the other site’s privacy policy applies.

13. Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page.
